Zsuzsanna Schmidt graduated from the Faculty of Humanities of the Eötvös Loránd University. In 2001 she took her degree in German as a Foreign Language (BA) and in 2005 in German Linguistics and Literature(MA) as well as in Cultural Management (diploma).

Since November 2005 she has been working at the Bartók Archives. She is engaged in international correspondence and in proofreading Bartók’s correspondence in digitized form, such as that with his publisher Universal Edition, Vienna.
